Lara Nesmith is a Realtor whose successful practice incorporates a major part of the Houston metropolitan area. Lara is experienced and knowledgeable, works in all price ranges, and introduces her clients to the very best properties.
Lara works in west and southwest Houston, particularly Wilchester and Wilchester West subdivisions, and has an expanding practice in Galveston as well. She is also experienced in the particular requirements of relocation buyers and sellers moving into or away from Houston.
Lara is proud that the majority of her business is referrals and repeat clients. "I have worked with some of my clients as many as four times in the purchase or sale of their homes," Lara says. She attributes her success to long hours, strong market knowledge and top negotiating skills. "My favorite compliment is when I'm told that I helped a client find the perfect house – and made the transaction not only successful but fun. I also help my sellers to "stage" their home prior to putting it on the market in order to help it sell, and I can also help buyers design and plan their remodel of a home." Lara has earned the Certified Senior Residential Specialist (CSRS) and Certified Negotiation Expert (CNE) designations, and has been recognized with the 2012 Texas Monthly Five Star Real Estate Agent award.
One of Lara's greatest assets is the ability to really listen. "Once a client has described what they are looking for, I can search for property through their eyes," Lara says. "And I always remember that purchasing a home or land for a home is one of the most important decisions most people will ever make."
Lara is a fourth generation Houstonian who grew up in Spring Valley and Memorial. She attended the University of Houston and Texas A&M University. Lara is married and has two adult sons, one of whom, Trey Nesmith, is a Realtor and has worked alongside Lara for many years as her working partner.
