About me
Laurie Kelfer is a full time and full-service real estate professional with a solid background in customer service and client relationship development. She grew up in New York state and was educated in Boston where she earned a Bachelor and Master of Science in Nursing degree from Boston University. Over thirty years ago, she and her husband who is a physician relocated to Fort Worth where she worked in the medical field as a nursing supervisor and Director of Nursing in Dallas and Fort Worth. Prior to entering the real estate industry, she was a Legal Nurse Consultant in the legal medical defense environment. She has 2 adult sons in the DFW area who work in the finance field. Laurie is an active community volunteer who has served on the board of: James L. West Center, Overton Woods Homeowners Association, Tarrant County Medical Society Alliance and American Association of Legal Nurse Consultants having been a charter member of the Fort Worth chapter. From 2015 -2017, she served as President of Beth-El Congregation in Fort Worth and has served on the community advisory executive board of the TCU Hillel Chapter. Hobbies include reading, traveling and physical fitness activities. She has demonstrated strong communication, organizational, research and interpersonal skills.
