Katie Moore graduated from UNC-Greensboro with a degree in Economics while competing on the Division 1 women's soccer and tennis teams on a national level.  She went on to pursue graduate studies in Economics and Finance and although she loved working with numbers, she learned that her active and energetic personality demanded more out of life and the ability to get out and interact with people on a daily basis. As someone who has always pushed her limits, she knew it was time to explore more challenging pursuits. Katie got her NC Appraisal Certification 20 years ago. She built a thriving appraisal business in Charlotte and then moved it back to her native city of Wilmington. While doing appraisals, she developed a fascination with the real estate industry and found it a perfect fit for her driven personality. With the appraisal business running smoothly, Katie took the next step into real estate sales and hasn't looked back. Her appraisal background makes her intimately familiar with the Wilmington market, and her longtime local connections make her a fantastic resource for anything her clients need.   In her free time, Katie stays active through a variety of sports including running, swimming, tennis and soccer and is involved with numerous non-profit organizations. She is also the proud parent of three great kids!
