At her former real estate company, Barbie was the top sales agent for 9 of the 10 years she was there. Barbie represents both buyers and sellers in real estate transactions. Since becoming a REALTOR ® , she has helped clients buy or sell hundreds of homes in the greater Athens area, including homes in Athens-Clarke County, Oconee County, Barrow County, Jackson County, Madison County, Oglethorpe County, Walton County and Gwinnett County. Also, Barbie has worked with a number of clients relocating to the greater Athens area, she has helped investors buy and sell rental and investment properties, she has sold farm properties for clients and she has put together land deals for real estate developers.

She is a Certified Sales Professional™ (CSP), a Real Estate Loss Mitigation Specialist™ (RELM) and a Real Estate Short Sale Specialist™ (RESS). Barbie is a member of the Athens Area Association of Realtors, the Georgia Association of Realtors, the National Association of Realtors, the Women’s Counsel of Realtors, the Athens Chamber of Commerce and the Barrow County Chamber of Commerce.

Barbie has a vast knowledge of the local communities and schools in the greater Athens area having lived in the area her entire life. She is currently a resident of Oconee County. Barbie is happily married and her husband is a successful trial lawyer. Together, they have seven children and several grandchildren. Barbie and her family attend Grace Fellowship Church in Oconee County.
