Prior to developing her real estate career, Shelly worked for Marriott Hotels (wearing many different management hats), PJ Whitehead's Interior Design, Baccarat and Tory Burch. Shelly and her husband move to South Palm Desert permanently in 2015 from Detroit, MI after spending a few winters in the Coachella Valley and fell in love with the area. An avid golfer and active member of Ironwood Country Club, she is very familiar with the surrounding clubs. Shelly is also involved with the BNP Paribas Open held at the Indian Wells Tennis Gardens as a Ball Kid Coordinator and a weekly volunteer at the Coachella Valley Horse Rescue.
