A Little About Me
Coming out of a high-tech executive career, I decided shortly after moving to Austin (over 10 years ago) that it was time to build a company and a "brand" that would be a legacy I would own--not one that I would have to give up to one of my previous employers. Having built houses and commercial buildings with my family while I was growing up, I have always been drawn to real estate. The family and I moved to Austin before this housing boom started, and our boys were born here. Needless to say, we love all that Central Texas has to offer ( AustinRealEstateSecrets.com ), from the entertainment, the cultural diversity, the great schools, the dynamic weather, the southern and the hospitality of our neighbors--all of which form a rich cultural and economic foundation of our Austin area community.
When we moved to Austin, SXSW was still a start-up and a newly formed vision. Today, SXSW, The Formula 1/Circuit of Americas races , our Austin Rodeo , our concerts , ACL , our marathons, 6th Street , recreation on the lakes , our high tech business growth and our recognition as a world class city is undeniable. During the first 10 years, I have helped nearly 250 families create roots and investments here in Austin and made more friends and neighbors than I could have ever imagined. Although we have traveled around the world and lived in many major international cities, we now call Austin home.
Today, a significant number of my clients are investors and landlords. Being a landlord and investor myself, I have both new investors who have come to me to help with their first Real Estate investment, and many longstanding investor/landlords who have come to me to help them get to the next level of their journey to become the best landlords and investors possible. Being a smarter landlord not only means buying the right home, in the right location at the right price, but it also means perfecting the other 75% of the things that every landlord learns how to do and do well. Being smart, being fair, being a great investor is a journey and I take that journey with my clients every day.
