Ryall Smith | Principal With roots in Louisiana and Tennessee, Ryall left the South courtesy of the U.S. Air Force, landing in D.C. in 1984 as a young Captain at the Pentagon and Andrews A.F.B. Ryall joined Grant in his top-ranked real estate business in 1988 - a terrific opportunity for a rookie going from "zero to a hundred mph" while learning from a master in the profession! After 25 years, they remain one of the longest running - and most experienced - teams in the area. Ryall is a past Board Director of the D.C. Association of Realtors and is a member of and supports a number of community organizations. Ryall loves visiting friends he met while stationed in Europe and living in his Abdo-designed loft in Capitol Hill’s 100 year old Bryan School on Independence Avenue.

Andrew Glasow | Principal A native of upstate New York, Andrew joined the team in 2005 direct from running the marketing of Merchandise Mart Properties' home design centers in Chicago, New York, and D.C., including the former Washington Design Center. His background with the design community across the country, and specifically the kitchen and bath industry, has become a valuable asset to both our sellers and buyers. And, at 6’ 5”, he’s pretty easy to spot... in the past, you could see him being walked by Tallulah, his Hungarian pointer, around Stanton Park and back home to his 3rd St, N.E. house.

Fred Saddler | Director, Client Care Another native of Louisiana like Ryall, Fred joined the team as an associate in 2014. Fred's deep interest in the historic homes and gardens of Washington, D.C. and the National Capital Region developed out of his former life as a college history instructor. Like Andrew, he is a knowledgeable resource regarding interior and landscape design for both sellers and buyers. He is shown here with the famous Tallulah in front of Andrew's and his ca. 1880 rowhouse on 3rd Street, N.E.

Grant Griffith | Founder Hailing from Florida, Grant has been a leader in the Washington, D.C. real estate community for more than three decades. One of the legends in the business, he raised the bar in customer service by creating one of the first and longest-running agent partnerships in the city - taking a professional team approach to each and every house sale. Grant lives on Capitol Hill and enjoys collecting art, antiques, and carriage clocks. He's one of the Virginia foothills' biggest fans with long-held ties to his beloved Rappahannock County, Virginia. In fact, you are as likely to find "G" - as he's affectionately known by his friends and team members - showing property in the countryside and suburbs of Northern Virginia as you will in the city.
