Joanne Fishman

Joanne is a skilled estate professional specializing in luxury properties in the area of East Bay, San Francisco known as Lamorinda which comprises the towns of Lafayette, Moraga and Orinda. Prior to becoming a Realtor she spent more than 20 years in communications, working as a news writer for newspapers and magazines, including a 10-year stint at the New York Times sports department as the boating editor. In this capacity, she covered three America's Cup yacht races. Joanne, who grew up sailing small boats, also participated in one leg of the Round The World Race from Argentina to England.
Joanne and her late husband, a consultant in the golf industry, moved to San Diego from Westport, CT, where she began her real estate career. She later moved to Lafayette to be near her two sons and their families. Here she continues to use her communications and marketing skills to help her clients achieve their goals. Her communications background as well as her real estate training and experience combine to help insure her clients have a smooth and successful transaction.
