Chris Cook has always had a passion for real estate and has enjoyed working in the industry for the last ten years. Chris recently joined the ranks as a licensed Realtor and is excited to further develop her network of relationships on the Peninsula. Within her first year, she quickly established herself as one of the top five sales agents for Coldwell Banker, San Carlos. Chris sees her role as an agent covering four core responsibilities:
1) Fiduciary. Building trust is fundamental along all arms of a transaction which requires care, honesty and integrity. Chris prides herself on her ability to create good working relationships with her clients, other agents, and respected partners in the real estate industry.
2) Project Manager. Every detail counts in getting a property prepared for the market, sold, and closed or an offer accepted. Chris is meticulous and detail oriented and will keep you updated regularly on how the project is moving forward via email, phone call and text.
3) Marketer. The cornerstone of a successful sale is in the marketing. Exceptional photography partnered with high quality marketing materials, an excellent web presence and consistent social media is essential in home sales. Chris takes advantage of professional photographers and an extensive marketing platform to maximize the exposure for every property.
Marketing is equally important for buyers! When it comes time to looking for properties off market and presenting an offer when you have found the perfect home, Chris has proven methods for success.
4) Negotiator. Chris understands that she is likely helping you to sell or buy your most important financial asset and will work tirelessly to obtain the most advantageous terms to ensure a quick and easy close of escrow.
Previously, Chris spent twelve years working for Visa, where she shaped and developed her skills both in meeting the needs of clients and managing projects from inception to completion.
Chris has always lived on the Peninsula and is a long-time resident of San Carlos, where she has raised three children and been active in public school fundraising with the Carlmont Academic Foundation, SCEF, San Carlos Charter Learning Center Fundraising Association and Carlmont Boosters Club. Chris is now also a member of the Carlmont 8th Grade Transition Team, National Charity League, Young Men's Service League and enjoys working with the Villages of San Mateo County.
