A Proven Success: As broker/owner of Coldwell Banker Carlson Real Estate, I partnered with my mother and sister, Peggy Smith and Maggie Macdonald respectively, to form the Smith Macdonald Group under our Coldwell Banker offices in Stowe and Morrisville, Vermont. We oversee a staff of 15 agents and administrative employees and have been designated a Coldwell Banker Premier Gold Office, which ranks us in the top 9% of all offices in North America.
For nearly 20 years I have been forging relationships, marketing properties and selling real estate in Vermont and New York City. Since forming our real estate team in 2010, the Smith Macdonald Group has received multiple awards and recognition year after year from Coldwell Banker. Most recently we were the recipients of the prestigious 2020 International President’s Premier Team award, which ranks us in the top 4% of all teams in North America. Additionally, the Smith Macdonald Group has ranked #1 in Stowe area sales for over 10 years, with over $291mm in sales volume.
Prior to returning home to Stowe in 2010, I served as a Vice President with Corcoran Group Real Estate in New York City for 7 years.

A Native Vermonter: A proud Vermonter, I feel truly fortunate that I was born and raised in the beautiful town of Stowe, Vermont. I received my degree in communications from the University of Denver before heading to New York City where I spent time at Cohn & Wolfe Public Relations and International Sports Broadcasting at the Salt Lake City Winter Olympics in 2002.
A Global Citizen: My sister and I were fortunate to have opportunities to travel internationally growing up, which helped shape our world view and also give us such an appreciation for this special part of the world we call home. I love this state where I was raised, and my wife Jen and I feel truly fortunate that we are now able to raise our twin daughters here. In addition to busy lives with our girls, we are active volunteers, coaches and community members, and professionally have served on many boards over the years.
