Jane grew up in southern Minnesota and moved to the Twin Cities to attend the University of Minnesota Carlson School of Management, earning a business degree with a Spanish minor. Her real estate journey began in 1990 with the purchase of a one-bedroom rental in Minneapolis. Soon after, she and her husband settled in St. Paul, where they raised their family and put down roots. She loves the strong community of Minneapolis / St. Paul-neighbors who care for one another, a rich diverse culture, and and incredible arts, music, and culinary scene. Jane can often be found enjoying local restaurants or taking evening walks along Summit Avenue, Mississippi River Boulevard, and the area's many lakes.

Before becoming a full-time agent, Jane worked as an editor for consulting firms, sharpening her communication skills and attention to detail. In 2002, she co-founded an inner-city neighborhood church. Giving back and helping strengthen her community remain core values in her life and work.
