In the hospitality industry, I worked with people from all over the world, different personalities, and meeting different goals. I learned to multi-task, and honed my communications skills. It was a great learning experience to bring into real estate, which like the hospitality industry, is all about people. Living in other countries, I found that even though people speak different languages, they have one thing in common: They like to be treated with respect. For me, that respect comes in the form of being on time, answering my phone or returning calls promptly, listening to clients' goals, and providing information about Minneapolis and the real estate market.
