She worked as a realtor in the Chicago area for several years and staged homes in Los Angeles with Better Homes and Gardens Real Estate for 4 years. She is Chairman of the Ocean Springs Historic Preservation Commission and keeps her finger on the pulse of Ocean Springs through her work with the city. Joanna served on the Board of the Mary C. O'Keefe Cultural Center in Ocean Springs and the Board of the Lynn Meadows Discovery Center in Gulfport. As president of the WINGS Advisory Board, she worked with teens from all across the coast on community service projects for this award winning program. Joanna is a member of the Dogwood Garden Club and PEO. As a member of the First Presbyterian Church of Ocean Springs, she also serves on the Missions Committee.
