PROFESSIONAL EXPERIENCE I have been active in listing and selling East Bay real estate including Oakland, Berkeley, Piedmont, and Emeryville properties since 1987.
I placed my license with the Montclair-Piedmont office of Coldwell Banker Residential Brokerage in 2004, and have earned the Previews Property Specialist designation through successfully listing and selling luxury residential properties.
I have focused on residential resales, as well as having significant residential income, new construction and vacant land sales experience.
I am a member of the National Association of Realtors, the California Association of Realtors, and of the Oakland-Berkeley Association of Realtors.
I have been honored by being elected by my fellow Realtors to serve as one of the directors of the Oakland Association of Realtors starting in 2012 until the merger with the Berkeley Association of Realtors in January, 2015.
I have also been honored with being appointed one of the East Bay Regional Data, Inc. Multiple Listing Service directors starting in 2012, and last year was elected to serve as a director through 2015.
I served as a Board of Realtors Political Action Commitee (BORPAC) trustee 1998-2000, and was BORPAC Vice-Chair for 2000.

Set firmly on that foundation, the heart of my real estate practice is a passion to add something really worthwhile to my clients lives and to our community.
EDUCATION Bachelor of Fine Arts, California College of the Arts- 1970.
K-12 in the Oakland Public Schools.
PERSONAL BACKGROUND AND INTERESTS I am a native Oaklander, and a Montclair resident. I have deep roots and involvement in our local and regional community, culture, and environment.
I am an elected member of the Board of Directors of East Bay Regional Data, Inc, the Multiple Listing Service provider for much of the East Bay, and served as an elected director of the Oakland Association of Realtors from January, 2012 through 2014.
Over the years I have been active in the Thornhill School Parent Faculty Club, and in the development efforts of the Head Royce School parent community. I'm a parent of a Stanford alum, but also have worked with the U.C. Berkeley Foundation helping to value and to sell donated properties! I'm an active member of the California College of the Arts Alumni Association.
I have always loved getting out into and learning about our local natural environment and have had a lifelong interest in local history.
I'm a cross-country runner, and a longtime T'ai Chi Ch'uan enthusiast.
