About
Michelle Nicely has been proudly serving Fredericksburg and the surrounding communities since 2005, earning the trust, respect, and repeat business of clients and colleagues alike.
Known as a Senior Home Coach™, Michelle is certified as a Seniors Real Estate Specialist (SRES®) and Chair of the National Aging in Place Council (NAIPC) Fredericksburg Regional Chapter. She is widely Nationally recognized as an Aging in Place Specialist, helping seniors and their families navigate housing decisions with clarity, wisdom, and care.
Whether a client is exploring multi-generational living, rightsizing, preparing a home for sale, modifying a home for safety, or simply deciding what the next chapter should look like, Michelle walks beside families through each step. She believes the goal is not simply to move — it’s to make sure every family has options that support independence, dignity, and peace of mind.
In addition to her focus on aging-in-place solutions, Michelle is also a Certified Probate Specialist, Military Relocation Professional (MRP), and Pricing Strategy Advisor (PSA). This unique combination of credentials allows her to guide families through some of life’s most complex housing transitions with both professional expertise and genuine compassion.
Michelle’s approach reflects what she calls “Selling with a Servant’s Heart.” As a top-producing REALTOR®, she is known for crafting thoughtful marketing strategies, delivering clear and thorough market analysis, and negotiating with both strength and grace. Her clients often describe her as personable and supportive — but also someone who will confidently step up and advocate when it matters most.
As a homeowner, income-property investor, and owner of Discover Senior Living Referral & Placement Company, Michelle brings firsthand understanding to the emotional and financial decisions families face when planning their future. Her clients frequently return and refer others, appreciating her rare ability to blend professional skill with heartfelt advocacy.
Michelle and her family live, work, play, and worship right here in Fredericksburg, Virginia. She considers it a privilege to serve the community she calls home — helping neighbors, friends, and families navigate life’s transitions with confidence.
And if there’s one thing Michelle believes after two decades in real estate, it’s this:
Real estate isn’t just about houses. t’s about people, families, and the life they build inside those homes.
