Sissy considers herself blessed to have grown up in Nu'uanu and raise her four children between Waimea on Hawai'i and Kailua, O'ahu. A "country girl" at heart, Sissy embraces the country lifestyle in Waimea and appreciates the small town feeling. "It takes a village to raise a child" certainly applies in Waimea and her family thrived in this small cohesive community. Sissy presently resides in Kailua and appreciates the beach town lifestyle and walkable community.

Sissy's diverse background enables her to recognize and solve issues and identify the various needs of her clientele. Being a mother of a child with medical and intellectual challenges, she is a staunch advocate for child centered organizations and uses that same voice on her client's behalf.
