For more than 40 years, Skip Barbour has been helping buyers, sellers, investors, and families navigate some of life's most important financial decisions throughout San Diego. As founder of the Skip Barbour Real Estate Group at Coldwell Banker Realty, Skip has built his reputation on integrity, market expertise, skilled negotiation, and long-lasting client relationships.

Skip's journey has never followed the conventional path. After earning a football scholarship to the University of San Diego, he made the life-changing decision to leave the program and spend several months traveling throughout Asia, including a month-long trek to Everest Base Camp. That experience shaped the resilience, perspective, and appreciation for people that continue to define both his life and career. Originally planning to become an attorney, Skip discovered his true passion was working directly with people. He obtained his California real estate license and has since helped hundreds of clients successfully buy, sell, invest, and build wealth through real estate.

Over the course of his career, Skip has guided clients through virtually every type of residential transaction, including luxury homes, first-time home purchases, investment properties, trust and probate sales, divorce-related transactions, downsizing, relocations, and estate sales. His background also includes residential development, custom home construction, mortgage lending, and property management, giving clients valuable insight beyond the typical real estate transaction.

Today, Skip proudly works alongside his daughter, Brittany Barbour, as the Skip Barbour Real Estate Group, combining decades of local expertise with innovative marketing, modern technology, and concierge-level service. Together they proudly serve San Diego County.
