Business PhilosophyMy philosophy is simple: For Sellers - market my listings aggressively and globally to bring my selling clients the largest number of potential buyers and create a profile for the buyer that is most likely to be attracted to the listing. I don't wait for the buyers to respond to all the marketing, I go find the buyers that fit the profile that the owners and I have crafted. It saves my clients time and money, and gets properties sold quickly. I'm not a fan of 'list and lower' until a buyer bites; it's more fun for me to go find the buyer. I fish the same way: I try a variety of flies, a few different drops and drifts, even a couple of gentle casts towards the dark holes...if nothing bites, I check what is hatching, tie on a new fly, walk up or down river a bit and try again. I like catching.For my clients who want to buy a home in Greenwich, I think it's important to educate them fully on the different areas available, especially if they are from out of town. I also believe that buyers deserve to see a variety of options both listed and unlisted so they can refine their priorities and really feel they have chosen the best property for themselves. Like my fishing style above, I enjoy hunting for the right house and I know this town inside and out. After several years there, I started my own firm: Fete Accomplie Inc. which became the primary Protocol and Business Entertainment resource for Brown Brothers and many other Fortune 500 corporations globally. My firm was taken over by Chemical Bank and I was hired to run their Protocol Dept. with responsibility for the 90 person Travel Division and all Travel and Entertainment expenses and budgets for the bank.After moving to Chicago, I continued working as a consultant until I returned to the New York area and began a new company: Motherload Product Development Corp. This firm is privately held and still sells unique inventions and gifts created in the 80's including Mailboxtops, a decorative cover for rural mailboxes that is velcro-attached and can be easily changed.
