About me
As a fifth generation Houstonian (my great-great grandfather developed his land grant known as Oates Prairie on the now industrial near east side) I have watched a Houston with no freeways grow exponentially into the bold and dynamic multi-national and multi-cultural metropolis it is today. Houston has provided the perfect environment to nurture my love of culture with world-class symphony, opera, ballet and live theater. Because Houston leads the country in restaurants per capita, it is likely that our dinner club will never run out of options for our monthly gastronomical explorations. My husband and I never considered anywhere but Houston to raise our family. Even though I am a Texas-ex, our children graduated from Texas A&M, University of Houston, and Texas State (otherwise known as toobing U.) When our children were little, besides spending time at our property in the Hill Country, we would spend many weekends exploring open houses in all of the latest developments springing up on all sides of Houston—The Woodlands, Sugarland, Friendswood, Katy, Pearland, etc.—as we would dream of the perfect house in the perfect neighborhood.
Since I always wanted to travel, in my life after being a stay-at-home mom, I reinvented myself into a flight attendant. So after 17 years with Houston’s hometown airline and seeing the world, I decided that there really is no place like home. So now, instead of providing first class service at 30,000 feet, I provide first class service to families looking to buy or sell their homes on the ground. As a flight attendant, my goal was to be the kind of attendant that I would want to have as a passenger. As a realtor, my goal is to provide the kind of service to my clients that I would want to have either selling or buying the most important and valuable asset I am likely to own. And, I won’t be satisfied until my clients are satisfied that they have received the best value for their money and have achieved their dream.
