Mercedes Prohaska

Resident of West Virginia for 22 years. My family and I moved here due to a job transfer from Boston, MA. We fell in love with the area and decided this was the best place to raise our family. My husband retired after 33 years of active duty. We have 2 children: a daughter who graduated from the University of Richmond, and a teenage son who just started high school. I'm a local small business owner in Shepherdstown, and a member of the small business association. I am involved in my childrens' school, being PTO president for 3 years. I'm an active member of St. Agnes Church, where I also volunteer to feed the hungry with our church youth group.
