Jacqui Cowles moved to Lake Oconee with her husband, Dr. Bob, from Atlanta to start a new life and build the Cowles Clinic at Lake Oconee over 22 years ago. Jacqui left behind a 15-year career with Delta Airlines excited to travel a different path in life. This was quite a different place then— no Publix, Ritz Carlton, Charter School, Cowles Clinic, shopping or movie theater. Jacqui made a commitment to make this their forever home. A community where they could raise their son and daughter and contribute mightily to the growth of the lake area and help expand the amenities available to all.
Just look at what has happened to “The Lake”: Presidential visits, Forbes cover story about high-end most desirable move to Destination in America, Metropolitan Opera, Ritz Carlton, explosive housing, Banking, Cowles Clinic, Good Samaritan Hospital, Jetport, Churches, water sports, restaurants, number one Charter School in Georgia— and then there is golf— Nine world renowned courses. But most important are the people that make this their home or away from home “place to be.” Simply put— you cannot find a better community to call your own. As one President said, “This is a slice of heaven!”
After designing and developing the Cowles Clinic with her husband, Jacqui was ready for another career. Jacqui joined Coldwell Banker Lake Oconee Realty in 2019 in Residential and Commercial sales. Jacqui has received the following accolades:

* Broke record sales within Cuscowilla in 2020

Outside of work, Jacqui enjoys playing golf, cooking, boating, and traveling. As a worldwide traveler, Jacqui has visited many countries but notes Italy as a personal favorite.
