I have worked as a bond underwriter, as well as a marketing representative in the insurance industry. My passion has always been to help others through many central Texas organizations. I have volunteered with the March of Dimes, South Austin Pregnancy Resource Center, Laguna Gloria, American Cancer Society, Symphony Square and supported the Bachelors of Austin. Several years ago I started and owned my own clothing store in Dripping Springs called 'Dripping With Style'.

I have called Austin home for the last 35+ years. My husband and I are blessed to have four children and I enjoy spending time at their school, Regents School of Austin, and our church, Austin Ridge Bible Church.
